Accessibility

Last updated: 1 August 2026

SEO Agency East London wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboard-only navigation, speech recognition or other assistive technology. This statement explains what we aim for, where we currently fall short and how to tell us about a problem.

The standard we work towards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. That is the standard commonly used as a benchmark for websites in the UK. We describe this as an aim rather than a claim of full conformance, because we have not yet had the site independently audited and we know of specific issues that fall short of it. Those are listed below.

What we have done

The site has been built with accessibility in mind in the following respects.

  • Pages use structured HTML with a single main heading and a logical heading order, so the content can be navigated by structure rather than by sight alone.
  • Text is set at a size and line height intended to be comfortable to read, and the layout reflows when text is enlarged or the browser is zoomed.
  • Colour combinations were chosen to give clear contrast between text and background.
  • The layout is responsive and works on small screens, including when a phone is used in landscape.
  • Links are written to make sense on their own where possible, rather than relying on phrases such as "click here".
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative treatment is kept to a minimum.
  • No part of the site relies on audio, autoplaying video or flashing content.

Known limitations

We would rather list real problems than publish a statement implying the site is flawless. We are aware of the following issues and intend to address them.

  • Estimate form labels. The fields on the estimate form are visually labelled but the labels are not yet programmatically associated with their inputs, which means some screen readers will not announce them correctly.
  • Mobile menu button. The menu toggle used on small screens does not currently communicate its expanded or collapsed state to assistive technology.
  • Services dropdown. The services submenu in the main navigation opens on hover and is not fully operable by keyboard. All the pages it links to can also be reached from the services page and the footer.
  • Image dimensions. Some images do not declare their dimensions in the markup, which can cause the page to shift slightly as it loads.
  • Alternative text quality. Some images carry alternative text that is more generic than it should be and could describe the image more usefully.

If you encounter something not on this list, we would genuinely like to know.

If you have difficulty using this site

You do not need to use the website to work with us. If any part of it is difficult for you, contact us directly on 020 8326 4455 or at [email protected] and we will take your enquiry over the telephone or by email instead.

We can also provide information from this site in another format on request, such as plain text or large print. Tell us which format suits you and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Reporting a problem

If you find an accessibility problem, please tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, what happened and what browser or assistive technology you were using. That detail makes it far easier to reproduce and fix.

Send reports to [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to explain what we intend to do about the issue and when.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with how we respond to an accessibility complaint, you can raise it under our complaints policy. The Equality Advisory and Support Service provides free advice on rights under the Equality Act 2010 and can be contacted through their website.

Third-party content

Some parts of this site may rely on services provided by others, such as analytics or call tracking. We do not control the accessibility of third-party code, but we take it into account when choosing suppliers and will look for alternatives where a component creates a barrier.

Reviewing this statement

We review this statement whenever the site changes materially, and at least once a year. It was last reviewed on the date shown at the top of the page.
